Watch Kung Fu Hustle Movie with Full HD Format

The work of international superstar Stephen Chow, Kung Fu Hustle is a humorous, special-effects-filled, action-packed martial arts epic set in early '40s China. A bumbling thief named Sing (Stephen Chow) desires to be the toughest member of the dreaded gangster hit squad known as The Axe Gang, but to completely join the gang he has to commit murder. When Sing attempts to rob a crowded run-down apartment complex known as Pig Sty Alley, the locals begin to defend themselves with some high-flying kung fu skills, and a tiny war erupts between the local masters and the axe-wielding gang. After the gang busts the ancient kung fu king known as The Beast (Leung Siu Lung) out of jail, tensions reach a boiling point as Pig Sty Alley's landlady (Yuen Qiu) leads an all-out attack against the gang and Sing discovers his true heroic fate. Kung Fu Hustle, which set box-office records across Asia during its December 2004 release, also stars Yuen Wah and Xing Yu, and features fight choreography by legendary masters of martial arts cinema Yuen Woo Ping and Sammo Hung. ~ Jason Gibner, Rovi

Review For Kung Fu Hustle

So disarmingly eager to please that only a stone-faced kung fu purist could object.
David Ansen-Newsweek

Chow's movie may seem nutty on the surface, but its slyness, its dreamy unfolding of so many moods and genres, becomes intoxicating.
Ken Tucker-New York Magazine

Kung Fu Hustle snaps and crackles like nuclear popcorn on a scorching griddle.
Desson Thomson-Washington Post

But for all its stylishness, verve and moments of visual poetry, the relentlessly punishing slapstick and overall cruel tone left me cold.
Ann Hornaday-Washington Post

Retrieving the martial arts movie from the gentrified middlebrow tastefulness of movies like House of Flying Daggers is only one item on Kung Fu Hustle's agenda.
Geoff Pevere-Toronto Star

With Hustle's release on 2,000 U.S. screens this week, Americans get to see what's so funny about Chow. The laugh's on them for not noticing him before.
Richard Corliss-TIME Magazine

Slapstick silliness and martial artistry of the highest calibre.
-Film4

A smart and very funny action comedy that will really knock your socks off.
Felix Vasquez Jr.-Cinema Crazed

The ever-shifting genre of martial arts films takes on yet another variation with writer/director/actor Stephen Chow's CGI spectacle infused comic Kung Fu adventure.
Cole Smithey-ColeSmithey.com

Gravity takes a backseat to levity.
Mark Halverson-Sacramento News & Review

Keeps the gags flying almost as rapidly as the fists.
Joe Lozito-Big Picture Big Sound

A film that is geared simply, straightforwardly and, above all, honestly to providing absolute entertainment.
Keith H. Brown-Eye for Film

The laws of physics no longer apply, if they ever did; characters leap, run at neck-breaking speed, bash each other through several walls with one blow.
Rob Gonsalves-eFilmCritic.com

While those who can't stand long fight scenes might find it a bit tiresome, everyone else is going to consider this a sweet, light-hearted martial arts treat.
Brian Webster-Apollo Guide

Giant action sequences, funny characters, and, my favourite, a giant hand carved into the earth, whomping the bad guy into submission. So much fun.
Jason Gorber-Film Scouts

A strange, fun flick that loves its source material dearly, Kung Fu Hustle is destined to become a cult classic.
Russ Breimeier-Christianity Today

Simultaneously and paradoxically irreverent and loving. A terrific piece of cinematic entertainment
Dan Jardine-Cinemania

Kung Fu Hustle flies by on bursts of dizzying slapstick invention. There's rarely a dull moment, but the wise-guy tone and the non-stop frenzy wear you down.
Kurt Loder-MTV

More like a cartoon populated with human actors.
-Sydney Morning Herald

Invigorating, bombastic, out-there and very funny.
Simon Crook-Empire Magazine

A film where special effects erase physics and the constraints of the human body, there's absolutely no telling what will come next.
Tasha Robinson-AV Club

Few directors in world cinema are working so competently and consistently in any mode as Chow is in this one.
Bryant Frazer-Bryant Frazer's Deep Focus

Kung Fu Hustle is made with such infectious humour and gee-whiz visuals it's easy to simply surrender all over again to Chow's brand of lunacy
Urban Cinefile Critics-Urban Cinefile

"Hustle" attempts to bring a different style to the forefront of popular cinema but fails to be more than a shoddy mischaracterization of the Asian culture.

Review For Save The Date

Lizzy Caplan and Alison Brie lend the lightweight rom-com "Save the Date" more than its fair share of watchability. But the film is never truly interesting.
Sheri Linden-Los Angeles Times

While Caplan works well in theory as an antiromantic-comedy heroine, director and co-screenwriter Michael Mohan just doesn't give her enough to do.
Sara Stewart-New York Post

[It] may sound like Sitcomland, but Mr. Mohan's sensibility - visually, comically, in terms of character - is more naturalistic, more Sundance. It's just not particularly sharp.
Rachel Saltz-New York Times

A merely adequate addition to the raft of romantic comedies for those pushing 30 without adult lives to call their own.
Ella Taylor-NPR

Save the Date is romantic comedy with aspirations to do something new. That's admirable but it isn't enough.
Mary F. Pols-TIME Magazine

An easygoing romance you might enjoy, despite the fact that you never need to see it again.
Elizabeth Weitzman-New York Daily News

Light in tone without being insubstantial, this is what more romantic comedies should aspire to be.
Cory Everett-The Playlist

SAVE THE DATE is a mature, refreshingly honest portrait of relationships - between lovers, family members and friends - that never fails to deliver humor and insight.
Meredith Borders-Badass Digest

Slumbers through routine conflicts, often in the dullest manner imaginable, refusing the lure of a snappy pace to wallow in poor communication contests that grow intolerable.
Brian Orndorf-Blu-ray.com

There's a finely-tuned sense of how difficult it can be to live life on your own terms, but the film so resolutely adheres to indie conventions it's hard to take seriously.
Robert Levin-amNewYork

With irrepressibly appealing performers playing flawed characters, he strikes a chord that resonates, even if some of the notes are a bit familiar.
Annlee Ellingson-Paste Magazine

Racy romcom has realistic characters but needs more plot.
S. Jhoanna Robledo-Common Sense Media

Manages its modest pleasures because of its likable cast.
Alison Willmore-Movieline

A pleasing sophomore feature from Sundance alum Michael Mohan
Chase Whale-Twitch

Save the Date ... is appealingly ambivalent about whether growing up is really such a great idea.
Dan Kois-Slate

Save The Date's achievements are modest-it could be funnier and more affecting, and it ends with a shrug-but the film is wise about sibling relationships, the uncertainty of youth, and smaller matters ...
Scott Tobias-AV Club

What's worst about the film is how it appropriates its main character's noncommittal selfishness to support its own quaint, anti-establishment themes.
Ed Gonzalez-Slant Magazine

'Save the Date' traffics in the most banal situations and whiny characters imaginable.

Review For Branded

There's almost a Seussian vibe in this heap, but no hint that it's intentional.
Michael Atkinson-Village Voice

To borrow a hamburger chain's refrain, not lovin' it.
Robert Abele-Los Angeles Times

This fantastical fable takes aim at marketing itself with an intriguing if tendentious narrative.
Andy Webster-New York Times

Branded" is a confusing sci-fi thriller that takes itself much too seriously.
Paul Chambers-Movie Chambers

Satire usually implies at least a little bit of humor, and Branded is mostly humorless -- if it was ever actually trying to be funny, then it fails. If a satire should be pointed, then this movie is more on the dull side.
Jeffrey M. Anderson-Common Sense Media

Nothing more than a freshman's first term paper for a sociology 101.
Monica Castillo-Boston Phoenix

This movie makes absolutely no sense.
Robert Levin-Film School Rejects

The worst of the worst, but serious connoisseurs of le bad cinema shouldn't pass it up.
Frank Swietek-One Guy's Opinion

It's not every day you see an ostensible satire that's never funny on purpose but is frequently hilarious by accident.

Review For The Tall Man

If you're a parent who ever, for one cold-sweat second, lost sight of your child at a playground - "The Tall Man" will tap into your darkest fears. And then make them even darker.
Stephen Whitty-Newark Star-Ledger

Long on atmosphere and short on sense, "The Tall Man" becomes less gripping as it grows more ridiculous.
Mark Olsen-Los Angeles Times

"The Tall Man" spits out enough scares and twists to maintain our interest, but the film's psycho-sociological layer is almost as cheesy and unconvincing as its low-rent action scenes.
Kyle Smith-New York Post

"The Tall Man" opens like a ghost story and closes with its feet firmly in the real world. Until then, Pascal Laugier's chilly little thriller manhandles our sympathies and gladdens our eyes in almost equal measure.
Jeannette Catsoulis-New York Times

The movie itself draws on too long, and eventually goes past at least two potential endings and heads right into the ridiculous.
Joe Neumaier-New York Daily News

I like to imagine the pitch meeting for "The Tall Man" as something like this: "It will be like 'Twin Peaks,' only absolutely terrible on every level."
Jordan Hoffman-Film.com

There's plenty to like about it in hindsight once it's all laid out, but it isn't enough to lift this mystery-thriller out of the realm of the mundane.
Eric D. Snider-EricDSnider.com

The Tall Man comes as close as anything in recent years at matching the better monster-of-the-week episodes of The X-Files.
Mark Pfeiffer-Reel Times: Reflections on Cinema

for all this thriller's tautness, its true horror emerges from the uncomfortable ethical questions that it poses - and leaves us to answer for ourselves in the dark.
Anton Bitel-Sight and Sound

The Tall Man is a fine thriller that tragically falls off the rails, spiraling into dark, morally corrupt territory.
R. L. Shaffer-IGN DVD

Laugier, as was the case with Martyrs, takes the story in a completely unpredictable and, for a while, baffling direction.
David Nusair-Reel Film Reviews

Despite the excellently creepy subject matter, The Tall Man contains very little actual horror and ends up being quite a dud.
Amy Curtis-We Got This Covered

... can't decide if it wants to be 'High Tension,' 'Jeepers Creepers' or 'The Piped Piper of Hamelin' ... results are arty, jumbled and, ho-hum, Sunday School preachy.
Glenn Lovell-CinemaDope

The result is tedious instead of suspenseful.
Todd Jorgenson-Cinemalogue.com

Works surprisingly well, given where it winds up. Give it a chance if you're looking for an unexpected surprise.
Marshall Fine-Hollywood & Fine

Leaving behind any trace of her eye-candy image, Jessica Biel delivers the performance of her career in 'The Tall Man.'
Betty Jo Tucker-ReelTalk Movie Reviews

A spooky and atmospheric little thriller that contains some actual and unexpected surprises.
Witney Seibold-CraveOnline

What begins as an intriguing Stephen King riff devolves into a Lifetime Original, effectively burning off the potential of the complex misdirection.
Brian Orndorf-Blu-ray.com

Child abductions plague a rural Washington State town, but the more pressing affliction in Pascal Laugier's film is the absence of chills, logic and coherence
Nick Schager-Boxoffice Magazine

It's novel, thought-provoking, and defiant of genre expectations.
Scott Tobias-AV Club

Pascal Laugier's film illustrates the problem of class mobility with a dark, troubling premise that holds a harsh light up to our own assumptions and expectations.

Harvey Dent, the Dark Knight sacrificed everything for what he and Commissioner Gordon both hoped was the greater good. For a time the lie worked, as criminal activity in Gotham City was crushed under the weight of the anti-crime Dent Act. But everything will change with the arrival of a cunning cat burglar with a mysterious agenda. Far more dangerous, however, is the emergence of Bane, a masked terrorist whose ruthless plans for Gotham drive Bruce out of his self-imposed exile. Review For The Dark Knight Rises

The story is dense, overlong, and studded with references that will make sense only to those intimate with Nolan's previous excursions into Batmanhood.
Anthony Lane-New Yorker

There was an opportunity here for Nolan to show us another way, to (again) stretch the boundaries of what is possible in a superhero film. Instead, alas, the latter half of The Dark Knight Rises retreats toward conventionality.
Christopher Orr-The Atlantic

I'm not arguing that Rises should be Singin' in the Rain. But its Wagnerian ambitions are not matched by its material. It hasn't earned its darkness.
Peter Rainer-Christian Science Monitor

The biggest surprise may just be how satisfying Nolan has made his farewell to a Dark Knight trilogy that many fans will wish he'd extend to a 10-part series, at least.
Bob Mondello-NPR

Others will see it differently, but for me this is a disappointingly clunky and bombastic conclusion to a superior series -- Nolan's biggest and worst movie to date.
Tom Charity-CNN.com

The director and cowriter/brother Jonathan Nolan pay heed to Wayne's wounded emotional arc. And the film is a feat of painstakingly crafted closure.
Lisa Kennedy-Denver Post

I was surprised at just how much of a great, thrilling time I had. It's a film that genuinely earns its stripes as a grand, epic work of cinema.
Glenn Dunks-Trespass

No villain could come close to matching Ledger's inspired Joker, but give Hardy credit for supplying Bane with plenty of conviction and gravitas in a movie that, frankly, is less about actors than knockout set pieces captured in eyeball-popping spectacles.
Dann Gire-Daily Herald (IL)

Caps off the trilogy with passion and dignity, if not always with slam-bang entertainment. Whoever directs the reboot in five years will have a lot to live up to.
Eric D. Snider-EricDSnider.com

The movie's two hours and 44 minutes long but never drags, and it has at least five separate action set pieces that will drop your jaw, particularly if you see it in IMAX.
Will Leitch-Deadspin

The Dark Knight Rises captures the spirit -- and cultural anxieties -- of the times.
Scott Foundas-Film Comment Magazine

The final installment in Christopher Nolan's pitch-black trilogy manages to be both relevant and topical while slavishly adhering to the stodgy tropes of the genre.
Al Alexander-The Patriot Ledger

Gloom never looked as good as it does in the mesmerizing "The Dark Knight Rises."
Carla Meyer-Sacramento Bee

Even with its flaws, The Dark Knight Rises is a solid film. It just fails to live up to the magnificent legacy created by the first two movies in the trilogy. To be fair, they were incredibly hard acts to follow.
Rick Bentley-Fresno Bee

Every facet of this impressive piece reaffirms the same thematic gristle as it forces the viewer to chew on the notion of personal responsibility.
Katherine Monk-Canada.com

The Dark Knight Rises is all about risks, and there are payoffs and failures to go with it.
Kirk Baird-Toledo Blade

This is a solid film, taking itself seriously and asking that we do the same.
Chris Knight-National Post

It's not un-entertaining. Exhausting, a bit, but not un-entertaining.
Joe Gross-Austin American-Statesman

An ambitious, honourable and satisfying conclusion to this genre-defining trilogy.
Tom Glasson-Concrete Playground

The Dark Knight Rises directly counters the arguments made against The Dark Knight. Maybe, sometimes, it is better to leave the demons unvanquished.
Jordan Hiller-Bangitout.com

Technically, The Dark Knight Rises is a thick leatherbound volume with gilded pages, though flipping through it yields a story about a big bad bald man doing eeevil things until a vigilante with pointy ears comes to the rescue.
Rob Gonsalves-eFilmCritic.com

Weighed down by portentousness and momentousness. The overall story remains a bit muddled. A better trilogy-capper than a movie in its own right.
Brian Gibson-Vue Weekly (Edmonton, Canada)

There's plenty of action, intrigue, special effects, and high-tech gadgets to maintain our attention at least in spurts.
John J. Puccio-Movie Metropolis

There's enough that works in The Dark Knight Rises that I can overlook most of the more glaring flaws, but it remains to date the most disappointing film I've seen from 2012.
Rob Humanick-Projection Booth

Nolan keeps things dark and dangerous
Robert Denerstein-Movie Habit

Doubtless flawed and arguably overlong, it's nonetheless a personal and heartfelt ode from the director to the greatest comic-book character ever committed to paper -- and now film.
