Watch Lung Neaw Visits His Neighbours Movie with Full HD Format

We follow Lung Neaw, living off the land, visiting neighbours, in a world of simple realities and compassion for his environment and fellow villagers. We see the basic truths of a humble man, another man making our world turn, to a better revolution. At the age of sixty, Lung Neaw (Uncle Neaw) finds himself retired from his life as a rice farmer in a small village in the Northern Thai Province of Chiang Mai. Away from the chatter and noise of recent political upheaval, in the capital Bangkok, and the demand for democratic reforms, we follow Lung Neaw in his daily life. We see Lung Neaw living off the land that he has known since he was born, fishing, hunting and foraging for herbs and vegetation in the open fields and forest nearby his home. -- (C) Official Site

Watch Life Is Beautiful (La Vita è bella) Movie with Full HD Format

In this WW II tragicomedy, famed Italian funnyman Roberto Benigni (The Monster) portrays Guido, who moves during the '30s from the country to a Tuscan town, where he is entranced by schoolteacher Dora (Nicoletta Braschi, Benigni's real-life wife). Dora likes Guido, but she remains faithful to her pompous fiancé, so Guido has an uphill struggle. Meanwhile, anti-Semitic attitudes lead to attacks against Guido's Jewish uncle (Giustino Durano). Leaping ahead to five years later, during WW II, Guido and Dora are married and have a son Giosue (Giorgio Cantarini). After they are imprisoned in a concentration camp, Guido goes to elaborate lengths to keep his son from understanding the truth of their situation. He tells the boy that they are competing with others to win an armored tank -- so everything from food shortages to tattoos is explained as necessary for participation in the contest. ~ Bhob Stewart, Rovi

Review For Life Is Beautiful (La Vita è bella)

Yes, there are heaps of charm and poignancy in this trifle, but it's a trifle nonetheless -- light-and-bright, for sure, but also slight-and-trite.
Rick Groen-Globe and Mail

Its sentiment is inescapable, but genuine poignancy and pathos are also present, and an overarching sincerity is visible too.

Regan is used to being first at everything. Imagine her horror and chagrin when she finds out the girl everyone called Pig Face in high school is going to tie the knot before she does! But Regan sucks it up and takes on bridesmaid duties along with her childhood pals: substance-abusing, promiscuous Gena and ditzy Katie. The single ladies are determined to put their bitterness aside and have an awesomely hedonistic bachelorette party. Armed with acerbic wit and seemingly endless supplies of coke and booze, the foul-mouthed femmes embark on one very long and emotional night filled with major wedding-dress panic, various bodily fluids, and cute ex-boyfriends.

Review For Bachelorette

The women's dialogue is pungently ribald but diffuse; too often, shouting and shrieking and gesticulating take the place of engaged performance.
Richard Brody-New Yorker

A nasty little piece of work -- a phrase I use not with contempt but with grudging admiration.
Dana Stevens-Slate

Its actresses - particularly Dunst - are terrific. Headland has a nice feel for music, too, and takes some editing risks.
Stephen Whitty-Newark Star-Ledger

I don't see why women being as slobby and gross as the guys is such a feminist breakthrough -- especially since, as in Bachelorette, the slobbiness and grossness is witless.
Peter Rainer-Christian Science Monitor

As smart and popreferential as Headland's writing is, it's a little underwhelming when it comes to delivering on laughs.
Sara Stewart-New York Post

It's a sour, only fitfully funny affair, wasting the abilities of its otherwise talented cast, which includes Kirsten Dunst, James Marsden, Adam Scott and Isla Fisher.
Michael O'Sullivan-Washington Post

The edginess is just window dressing. The message is as schmaltzy as anything you'd find in a kooky rom-com.
Andy Lea-Daily Star

Bachelorette is very much its own bitter brew, using the comic framework of a botched, coke-fuelled hen night to examine the stinging self-loathing exposed in three women by another's happiest day.
Guy Lodge-This is London

Give me a nice Audrey Hepburn film any day.
Allan Hunter-Daily Express

Retains that edge regularly removed from more commercially amenable comedies, and the cast make merry-ish ...
Mike McCahill-Guardian [UK]

Gleefully caustic comedy that sticks an elbow in the face of the usual chick flick conventions ...
Matthew Turner-ViewLondon

Not good.
David Jenkins-Little White Lies

It flips in and out of its tone too many times. Nevertheless it does have a sourness and a wretchedness that make some moments startlingly real and vivid.
Antonia Quirke-Financial Times

It cuts to the quick with toxic glee, confronting us with a trio of the worst friends you could possibly want at your wedding.
Tim Robey-Daily Telegraph

It's hard to feel anything but vacuity after watching, regardless of Dunst's commendable and animated turn at crushing the nuptials dream.
Lisa Giles-Keddie-HeyUGuys

This is simply one of the best of its druggy-slackers-go-bananas genre. And such beautiful women haven't been allowed to be so funny since Gentlemen Prefer Blondes.
Hannah McGill-The List

The cast tear through the film with bug-eyed glee, with Fisher and Caplan perfect as the two worst friends a girl could ever have.
Ken McIntyre-Total Film

No amount of zingy putdowns from Dunst or coke lines from Caplan can hide the fact that this film is fluffy at heart (and no worse for that).
Amber Wilkinson-Eye for Film

...the filmmaker devotes much of the movie's first half to endless sequences that are, by and large, utterly devoid of laughs.
David Nusair-Reel Film Reviews

Three bridesmaids embark on a non-stop parade of debauchery fueled by coke, booze, and pills... for all those people that wished Bridesmaids was more like The Hangover.
Cory Everett-The Playlist

This is a movie about people who have been so caught up in themselves, in being so defiantly themselves at the expense of actual human connection, that life is passing them by.
Will Leitch-Deadspin

It's a ensemble piece of attractive ladies, but their beauty is only skin deep. Each of the characters is an ugly person inside
Kevin Carr-7M Pictures

It would be a major mistake to think that Bachelorette is simply a rip-off of Bridesmaids with a healthy dose of Mean Girls stirred into the mix. This comedy clearly marches to its own beat.
Matt Brunson-Creative Loafing

Self-consciously raunchy, and simply more loud and annoying than funny, Bachelorette serves as ample evidence that women can do stupid and crude as well as men, if pushed to it.
Brent Simon-Shared Darkness

Bachelorette is all about these very fine actresses playing some pretty sad, desperate women who have some pretty funny lines to say.
CJ Johnson-ABC Radio (Australia)

The performances and characters are the best thing about Bachelorette, which tries to walk a fine line between bawdy gross-out comedy and introspective "what have I done with my life?" drama for 30-somethings.

If on one night every year, you could commit any crime without facing consequences, what would you do? In The Purge, a speculative thriller that follows one family over the course of a single night, four people will be tested to see how far they will go to protect themselves when the vicious outside world breaks into their home. In an America wracked by crime and overcrowded prisons, the government has sanctioned an annual 12-hour period in which any and all criminal activity-including murder-becomes legal. The police can't be called. Hospitals suspend help. It's one night when the citizenry regulates itself without thought of punishment. On this night plagued by violence and an epidemic of crime, one family wrestles with the decision of who they will become when a stranger comes knocking. When an intruder breaks into James Sandin's (Ethan Hawke) gated community during the yearly lockdown, he begins a sequence of events that threatens to tear a family apart. Now, it is up to James, his wife, Mary (Lena Headey), and their kids to make it through the night without turning into the monsters from whom they hide. Review For The Purge

DeMonaco clearly hopes to make a significant moral statement on the level of Shirley Jackson's literary masterpiece The Lottery. Alas, his aim at political conservatives who support the gun lobby falls flat before he can pull the trigger.
Rex Reed-New York Observer

If The Purge is as far-sighted as Network proved to be, we are in for very ugly times.
David Thomson-The New Republic

That old horror-movie standard, a homestead besieged by psychos, gets remixed with a bit of Occupy-era class-conflict satire in the disappointing future-set thriller The Purge.
Leslie Felperin-Variety

Gimmicky chiller lacks the robustness and distinction needed to support its social-commentary ambitions.
Neil Young-Hollywood Reporter

The blunt instrument plot allows for a few sneaky moments of satire and social commentary lite.
Peter Hartlaub-Hearst Newspapers

When critics bemoan the dumbing down of movies, they're talking about stuff like The Purge.
James Berardinelli-ReelViews

What should be a taut thriller stretches into an overextended slog with periodic scolding lectures.
Tasha Robinson-The Dissolve

A workable blueprint for a movie that falls apart in its shoddy construction. Hammers home its concept, then smashes down the doors of horror-movie clichés. Its beaten-to-a-pulp idea leaves the 'hood and sublets to some weakly shot home-invasion B-horror.
Brian Gibson-Vue Weekly (Edmonton, Canada)

You won't believe that any part of it is even remotely plausible, but you'll go along with it enough to get a few thrills.
Eric D. Snider-Twitch

It's a rather ludicrous premise that's employed to persistently underwhelming effect by writer/director James DeMonaco...
David Nusair-About.com

Honestly, this is not a high-quality movie. The script has gaping plot holes, and you need to suspend your disbelief. But it does encourage people to talk about violence. While 'The Purge' may not be entertainment, I can say it's thought-provoking.
Linda Cook-Quad City Times (Davenport, IA)

...quickly forgets its fake concern because there's too much awesome stalking, stabbing and shrieking demanding camera time, too many luxury objects that cry out to be righteously smashed by bad guy skulls.
Dave White-Movies.com

Contrary to the home-invasion emphasis of its trailer, it never loses touch with its ingenious premise.
John Beifuss-Commercial Appeal (Memphis, TN)

...a big, dumb home invasion horror movie.
Staci Layne Wilson-Yahoo! Movies

DeMonaco makes his point, but it's one that only resonates in the improbable scenario he's concocted.
Margot Harrison-Seven Days

The premise is intriguing but the movie is pretty disgusting. If it really had something to say about violence in our society okay, but it's just there for entertainment so beware.
Pete Hammond-Movieline

Writer-director James DeMonaco's The Purge fritters away its promise in lurid, frenzied violence.
Michael Sragow-Orange County Register

The execution is lackluster in this subversive examination of contemporary suburban violence, which gradually drains the credibility from its intriguing if cynical futuristic idea.
Todd Jorgenson-Cinemalogue.com

Have you seen worse? Sure. I suppose you could call this efficient, but that stops short of being a recommendation.
Ken Hanke-Mountain Xpress (Asheville, NC)

Lacks the Strength of its Flimsy Convictions
Charles Koplinski-Illinois Times

It really oughtn't be quite this easy to screw up something as bog-standard as a home invasion thriller quite this thoroughly.
Tim Brayton-Antagony & Ecstasy

"The Purge" plays like a weak "Twilight Zone" episode whose message gets horribly muddled by its over-the-top violence.
Sean Means-Salt Lake Tribune

doesn't spend enough time with the characters to give us much insight beyond the bare necessities, so their eventual devolution into primordial self-protection feels more like genre machinations than psychological intrigue
James Kendrick-Q Network Film Desk

True to its title, "The Purge" is an unpleasant experience with no one to care about or root for. What you expect to happen happens. Like most home-invasion thrillers, it's more nauseating than frightening.

Watch Neil Young Journeys Movie with Full HD Format

In May of 2011, Neil Young drove a 1956 Crown Victoria from his idyllic hometown of Omemee, Ontario to downtown Toronto's iconic Massey Hall where he intimately performed the last two nights of his solo world tour. Along the drive, Young recounted insightful and introspective stories from his youth to filmmaker Jonathan Demme. Demme, a long-time fan and collaborator, captured these tales of Young's childhood and masterfully weaved them together with his mesmerizing music including songs from the 2010 album Le Noise and powerful renditions of classics including "Ohio", Hey Hey, My My", "I Believe in You" and previously unreleased songs "Leia" and "You Never Call." Through the tunes and the tales, Demme portrays a personal, retrospective look into the heart and soul of the artist. -- (C) Sony Pictures Classics

Movie Overview For Neil Young Journeys

This past May, Neil Young brought his solo tour to Toronto's Massey Hall, an iconic venue in the city of his birth. Jonathan Demme was on hand to capture the two nights, which highlighted new songs from the album Le Noise, produced by Daniel Lanois, mixed with classics like "Ohio" and "I Believe in You." At sixty-five, Young retains a youthful vitality and musical curiosity that balances his wisdom and experience. It's no wonder he's been an inspiration to the likes of Pearl Jam and Sonic Youth. In Neil Young Journeys, Demme intersperses the Massey Hall concert footage with brief scenes from a road trip through Ontario. Driving a 1956 Ford Crown Victoria, Young visits the rural town of Omemee, where he spent a key part of his formative years, and reminisces about his former neighbors and their daughters. As he drives past bulldozers transforming the landscape, he remarks, 'It's all gone

Review For Neil Young Journeys

On its own terms, "Neil Young Journeys" is an enjoyable concert film of a solo show in Toronto, interspersed with memories of his Canadian boyhood.
Joe Williams-St. Louis Post-Dispatch

"Journeys" is simply a trip most need not take.
Tom Long-Detroit News

I'd say the movie does a fine job of completing the trilogy, but I wouldn't be surprised if Demme and Young have more in them yet.
Dan DeLuca-Philadelphia Inquirer

The concert camera work is sometimes a little tight for comfort (not really interested in Young's bridge work), though it adds to the intensity.
Paul de Barros-Seattle Times

Like Young, Demme often takes an iconoclastic route. This is in part a concert film, yes, but not a traditional one.
Bill Goodykoontz-Arizona Republic

Forget Crosby, Stills and Nash and maybe even Crazy Horse. Jonathan Demme might be Neil Young's ultimate collaborator.
Chris Riemenschneider-Minneapolis Star Tribune

Young's amiable, guard-down chatter as he drives that 1956 Ford Crown Victoria all the way from Omemee to Massey Hall in Toronto establishes a sense of heart and soul ...
David Pollock-The List

Demme plants a camera on the mic stand so at one point he can present Young's unshaven scowl in extreme close-up, blocking out the gorgeously lighted stage. It's not a pleasant image
Matt Kelemen-Las Vegas CityLife

It's OK. But seriously, how many Neil Young documentaries do we need?
Roger Moore-McClatchy-Tribune News Service

A mournful documentary that combines footage of Young in concert in Toronto with a bittersweet trip to his childhood home in Omemee in southern Ontario.
Allan Hunter-Daily Express

Demme hasn't stopped seeking out new angles on this old warhorse, and even the odd speck of spittle on the lens cannot obscure the fact Young increasingly looks and sounds like one of the all-time greats.
Mike McCahill-Guardian [UK]

Jonathan Demme makes his third concert film with Young, including shots practically right up his nostrils.
Tim Robey-Daily Telegraph

If this is raging against the dying of the light, long may he rage.
Kevin Harley-Total Film

...too much material drawing from his mediocre Le Noise album and the interview segments where Young drives around Ontario telling stories from his youth are less than revelatory.
Eric Melin-Scene-Stealers.com

I've seen better concert videos and I've seen better music documentaries. This one is for diehard Neil Young fans.
James Plath-Movie Metropolis

...just Young and his insinuating voice (which I'm inclined to credit more now than I was 40 years ago), various guitars, harmonica and piano, over which he displays a great and tender command.
Philip Martin-Arkansas Democrat-Gazette

Fans of folk rock legend Neil Young who are willing to accept that the guy is well past his prime will respond to the downbeat tone of Jonathan Demme's concert film.
Jim Schembri-3AW

The director is putting Young in the audience's lap, allowing the viewer to examine all the creases and crevices of his grizzled face as well as capturing the emotion the singer pours into his songs.
Bob Bloom-Journal and Courier (Lafayette, IN)

These two world-renowned and individualistic artists from the worlds of music and film clearly bask in each other's company. We, the audience, would be fools to respond otherwise.
Marjorie Baumgarten-Austin Chronicle

Long may he run, sure, but 'Neil Young Journeys' has the feeling of a farewell.
John Beifuss-Commercial Appeal (Memphis, TN)

"Journeys" is about looking back - not in sorrow or wistfulness, but in affection and, often, impassioned remembrance of times past and how they still resonate in the present.
Chris Foran-Milwaukee Journal Sentinel

A mesmerizing and intimate visit with a performer who is identified most closely with rock 'n' roll, but whose artistic curiosity has taken him in myriad directions musically throughout his 40-plus-year career.
Christopher Lloyd-Sarasota Herald-Tribune

Neil Young Journeys does for some of us what a rare film can do - it revives and renews our spirit. Neil Young and Jonathan Demme. Heart and soul. Wisdom and age. Fire and ashes. Lightning and thunder.
Tony Macklin-tonymacklin.net

For fans, Journeys is like that box set of uneven rarities that they simply must own. For casual friends, it's 90 minutes in good company. For the rest - ho-hum.
Jeff Meyers-Metro Times (Detroit, MI)

An unusually fulsome tribute to the singer-songwriter from the director of The Silence of the Lambs.

In Music from the Big House, Rita Chiarelli, Canada's Queen of the Blues, takes a pilgrimage to the birthplace of the blues, Louisiana State Maximum Security Penitentiary a.k.a Angola Prison - what used to be the bloodiest prison in America. Rita's trip turns into a historic jailhouse performance - playing with inmates serving life sentences. Their shared bond of music, and Chiarelli's vivacious personality, draw striking revelations from the inmates. Rather than sensational stories of convicts, we witness remarkable voices of hope as their love of music radiates humanity and redemption on their quest for forgiveness. -- (C) Official Site

Review For Music from the Big House

Even with a gripping subject like blues-singing convicts, the documentary "Music from the Big House" has a disconcerting emotional distance.
Robert Abele-Los Angeles Times

Don't look for Elvis in this stark musical doc set in a maximum security prison.
Frank Scheck-Hollywood Reporter

[It] gets across a general notion of music as universal solace. But the filmmakers hesitate at going deeper into the dark places of the prisoners' biographies and the storied prison itself.
Nicolas Rapold-New York Times

It finally feels too cautious, as if digging a little deeper might compromise the prevailing tone of tentative uplift.
Benjamin Mercer-Village Voice

McDonald's film ultimately boils down to being just another competent but slightly dull prison doc, albeit a toe-tapping one.
Derek Adams-Time Out

The performances are fun, if musically only adequate -- there are no evident virtuosi languishing within Angola's walls -- and Chiarelli's attempts to frame matters philosophically fall a little flat.
John Anderson-Variety

How do we reconcile the horror of their crimes with the humanity of their music? "Big House" could have gone much deeper in tackling this question, but it does open the door.
Rob Thomas-Capital Times (Madison, WI)

Music from the Big House middles along as a formless, touristy showcase for Chiarelli.
